2005 Accord LX AC Not Very Cold
My AC for my 05 Accord LX wasnt blowing any cold air so I took a look and the wire that powers the fans was destroyed. I fixed it and now the fans are blowing and the air is cooler than before but its not as cold as it once was. Do I need to recharge it or is there something much worse?

Check condensor face for debris/dirt that may block cooling air flow.
Is compressor cycling on/off frequently or never?
Only way to be sure about charge is to measure system performance while running engine at fast idle, max AC, max fan. W/ car in the shade, you should get about 35-40 degF "pulldown" in air temperature. Pulldown is difference between Air temp on floor board (inlet) and air temp at center air vent (outlet). Under very humid conditions, pulldown might be lower, perhaps 25-30F.
If you're not getting enough pulldown, your charge is probably low. Recharging requires a set of manifold gauges and some experience to charge correctly. Even w/ knowledge, charging by pressure is inexact.
If charge is low, you have a leak somewhere that needs to be located and repaired.
good luck
