I have a 2006 V6 EX automatic transmission I just had the fluid changed and also just changed the solenoid for 1st and 2nd. The problem I am having is I can start the car drive it it'll shift through all the gears smooth and no problems. But when I stop it's not resetting back to first gear. It's like it's in neutral but if I take the shifter and put it in first gear it goes in no problem and drives and then I can shift it to D and it goes through all the gears no problem and it's doing this intermittently. Oh it has about 150,000 miles on the second transmission. If it helps I have a BAYA transmission.

 

Is the D4 light flashing while driving or the check engine turning on? You might want to stop by a parts store and have them scan for codes anyway?
