Default 2007 Accord, driver's seat so uncomfortable

This seat is starting to give me permanent back pain, that lasts all day.The seat is contoured really weird, so after driving for a few minutes it feels like an elbum is in my lower back. Anyone else experience this, and know of any rememdies? (like a seat recall!)

Depending on which model/trim you have there may be an adjustment for the lower back bolster, if there isn't you could look into upgrading to the seat that offers this.

it's the standard cloth seat, I have the accord se. It's to the point where I've been considering getting rid of the car. No car is worth keeping if it's the soul cause of lower back pain. Which sucks, because besides the seatI really love the car .

It looks like an adjustable lumbar support is standard according to the website below. However, if it's not I'd try to find a wrecked EX with the adustable seat and just swap it

I see... Then I'd just look for a different seat, one from an EX should be adjustable and you could always go down to a dealership and sit in one to see if it helps before you do the swap.

there wan another thread like this earlier this year. I am not sure what the outcome was...

I can contest that the seats in the ex have a different feel to them...might be worth trying it out.

the lower curve on the back of the seat is like way too big, so when you sit back it feels like the edge of the curve is just poking you in the back Has anyone got any sort of seat cover or cushion that has worked well for them, to help remedy a situation like this?

If you were to put a pillow above that lower backrest it would make it less of a curve since the pillow wouldn't let you sink back as far. Just get an old pillow that isn't to thick, wrap it in there with some ties or something and then put a seat cover on, that way it still looks nice and keeps the seat clean but you have that little support change.
