Hello, Im not sure if this is where this forum should be so sorry in advance. it all started when my windshield wiper motor went bad I decided to buy the motor for it but it wasn’t an exact fit ended up buying a used one of facebook it worked perfectly fine but the only problem is that it would turn on when i turned on the car or had it in the start position I’m asking if anyone knows how to reset the electrical for it ? as it blows a fuse after a few minutes, it’s the 30 under the steering wheel. So i’m in a dilema because I’m not sure if this is a electrical problem or still a mechanical problem again the arms and motor work perfectly fine but it’s the electrical system that turns on automatically when the car is in start or turned on making it blow a fuse and then stopping the whole system for the motor. How can this be rest ? do i have to go to honda for this ? i’ve tried taking of the negative of the battery for 30 minutes but it didn’t do anything. please let me know if you have any information on this thanks! 2007 Honda Accord Coupe LX

 

If you unplug the wiper motor does the fuse still blow?
