Default 2007 I4 automatic transmission replacement

It is possible.

The only fancy tools I had were 2 jack stands and 2 of the crappy little jacks that come with hondas. Several concrete blocks and quite a bit of wood. Car runs well took about 4 weekends to get it out and in. Although I work slow. Supported the engine with concrete blocks then dropped the frame around it. Built a plywood platform on top of the frame to lower the transmission on to. I supported the transmission with blocks of wood and screw jack then to lower it. Worked ok not sure what the best way is it was slow to get it out that way but I was in control. I did have a transmission jack which was useless car was not high enough and the transmission is flat on the bottom which made at least the jack I had useless.

Car runs well got a transmission with 30k miles on it that was in a rollover. Hopefully it does not crap out from something that damaged it during the accident. But it seems to run well so far.

Couple pics.

Wells its going on 2 years now 15K miles and have had no problems with the replacement transmission. Was even able to sell most the electrical parts off the old one to recoup most the cost of the replacement one.
