Default 2009 accord ex-l v6

searched around and didn't find anything on this, but is there a fuse of something that i can modify so i can run the running lights and the highbeams at the same time? i am sure you have noticed that the running lights shut off if the highbeams come on. thanks all.

yes, the fog lights. i just consider them to be driving lights since i have always figured fog lights to be yellow in color.

"Fog" lights vs. driving lights are different in beam-shape. The yellow color is kinda old-school but I know what you mean.
Anyway, the DOT has some strange obscure rules about what combination of lamps are allowed on together, and they force the carmakers to set up the cars so it won't work that way.

i figured as much, but being that the accord is pretty much the same in canada and in europe, and that all my previous cars, like my 850 R volvo, it was just a simple process of flipping the foglight fuse 180 degrees. in canada and europe those regulations aren't in effect like here. so i figured, honda wouldn't go to the trouble of making it that hard to reverse. oh well, i'll have to go looking under the dash and see if i find anything out of the ordinary.
