2009 EX-L shaking at high speeds after snow
I'm out in the Greater Boston Area, and we just finished with a pretty big snow storm over the weekend. I drove my 2009 EX-L to work today and on the highway, my car started shaking above 50 mph. It wasn't violent but definitely noticeable. There weren't any odd sounds either that I could identify.
I bought the car about a month ago and haven't done much except drive on the highway to work. This is the first time it has started shaking. Is it probably just some residual snow? Or is it indicative of something more serious?

More than likely you have snow packed in your wheels. My car did the whole shaking thing yesterday with our dumping of snow and that was definitely the problem.

Do you have steel wheels or alloys? I changed my wheels over yesterday so I didn't bother cleaning the snow out... it may be easier just to take each wheel off and get the snow out, or melt it with hot water or something (self serve car washs usually have a hot water pressure washer...)

I've got alloy wheels - does it make a difference? I guess I'll try to clean them out with the snow brush as best as I can again and maybe thaw with hot water if that doesn't do it. It's still really cold out here though, so do I need to worry about drying the wheels off to prevent refreezing?

If you have alloys, its much easier to get at the inside of the wheel than with steelies, MUCH EASIER!
I wouldn't worry about drying them, just take it for a drive after you rinse them to fling any excess water off.
