I have an 09 with approx 185,000 miles. Best car I've ever had! I let someone use it for a few months that let it go without oil in it. After locking up I had it towed and am being told that the 6th cylinder isn't firing at all and that I will need a new engine which will be $4000-$4500 installed. It's not worth that to me and am asking what I should sell it for. I've had a few people ask and I have no idea where to start. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Why not put a used engine in, it would be half the cost and well worth it.

Honestly you're just selling the transmission at this point unless you're parting it out. It's hard to say what to sell for. It depends on condition.

 

you should look into getting a used engine, sometimes they'll have some from japan in stock, check around local / private shops
