2012 Honda Accord 2.4L
Greetings,
I am a new member to the HAF and I would like to say I am excited to be apart of the community. I recently bought a 2012 Honda Accord LX-S coupe, 5 speed 2.4l. I love working on cars and I am still learning so much so please bear with me. A couple weeks ago, my check engine light came on and I found out that this part(see photos) one of the hoses was torn and taped from the previous owner but did not mention it to me. I replaced the hose and the check engine light came on. Today I wanted to see if the hose was still on properly and when I moved it slightly, the piece where you put the hose into broke off. Then I noticed that it was previously broken and super glued or something together. I have searched and have not found a clear idea as to what exactly this part is and what it does. I went to autozone and advanced autoparts and they could not find it for me. Does anyone know exactly what this is? and where i could possibly get one? In the mean time I have glued it back together as a temporary fix. Sorry for the long post.
