Default 2014 Accord headlights

I have a '14 accord ex and I want to replace the headlights with V6 accord or touring headlights, the ones that have the led strip below the projector. How would I go about doing this? If I buy those headlights, do I have to have a harness for them to fit? I was told by someone that my model's headlights have individual sockets where I can install led bulbs in to have the same effect, not sure if this is true I haven't had a chance to check it out on my car.

The hardware is different between your Accord vs. Accords with the parking light/DRL (LED).

From comparing the circuit diagrams for equipped models; the lenses housing includes LEDs, different wiring and harness connectors, a DRL relay specifically for the parking light/DRL (LED). Non-equipped models do not include them.

Looking at just some of the parts costs for a V6, without any labor.

HEADLIGHT ASSY., R. 33100-T2A-A11 retail $414.54; online (w/o shipping) $298.48
HEADLIGHT ASSY., L. 33150-T2A-A11 retail $414.54; online $298.48
WIRE HARNESS, ENGINE ROOM 32200-T2G-A00 retail 597.33; online $430.08 (Honda only sells the engine room wire harness with fuse box, etc.)

Total Parts retail $1,426.41; online (w/o shipping) $1,027.04. There may be a few other parts needed. No labor included.

There is an aftermarket seller (hardtopguy .com) that has a custom wire harness mod for $149. But, then you still need the headlights, etc. He has a complete package for $1,425 + $50 for harness. Install is $500+ if done by them.

Is there an alternative that you know of, instead of buying headlights and installing them?

The only alternative I know of, instead of buying headlight and installing them, is purchasing an Accord trim level with them.

I have not read/heard of anyone retro-fitting the 2013/14 Accord headlight with LED DRLs yet.

For the custom headlights, they are showing $1,075.

They say they can sell just parts; but, you have to contact them for price. With parts only, that probably means taking apart the lenses, etc. yourself on a new car.

We generally don't allow live sales links for non-sponsor vendors on this forum site, that is why I didn't include a live web link to that vendor.

If you go to that vendor's website, search under custom headlight, Honda and you'll see the pricing for the custom headlights. Parts only pricing are not list; but, include a note to contact them for that.
