2014 Honda Accord Dashboard Lights
I have a 2014 Honda accord which has been dealership maintained and has 80,000 miles on it. I bought it new and have been driving it since. The car has never given me any problems, however, last Friday on my way back from work all the dashboard lights suddenly turned on and the car lost its acceleration. I pulled the car on the side and turned it off and on again, the lights were still there though the accelerator started working. So I drove the car straight to a local mechanic who knows a lot about cars. Based on the initial diagnosis he found an error with the throttle body. However, after fixing that, an another error appeared for the transmission sensor. The mechanic is I the process of replacing that but he is still not convinced that those are the only two issues as those two issues shouldn’t have lead to every single light on the dashboard being tuned on i.e. air pressure, engine, LDW, FCW etc and are not related. I wanted to see if this has happened to anyone else, is that a manufacturing issue?. There has been so signs of wiring being damaged or anything similar and the battery sensors have already been replaced. Any help will be appreciated as the repair bill has already crossed $800. Thank you in advance for your time!

Did your engine shut off when this happened? Did the dash lights turn on like when you first put the key (or is this a push-start) in the II position, but don't start the car? Have you had any work done recently on your car?

No the engine didn't shut off and no there were no dash lights on when I started the car and drove it. It happened suddenly while I was driving back home and had almost driven the car for approx. 45 minutes. My car is a push start. Finally, no work was done on the car in the last 6 months. The last time I took it in was for an oil engine approx. 6 months ago.
