Unhappy 2016 Coupe EX Driver Side Seat Trim

Hey, forum. So I have been researching and this is apparently a known issue. Bought this car used with 40k miles around Memorial Day and noticed a week later that suddenly the seat trim was hanging. Won't stay popped in. It's kind of making me crazy, I really love her otherwise. Not sure what to do as it sounds like it just keeps happening because it is a design defect. Gorilla glue or duct tape? The mechanism still works fine. Body parts not covered under warranty. Please help!

Not sure what the issue is. Can you post a picture?

I'd think the plastic piece still attached to the seat should be part of the plastic that is not attached, but I can't tell. Is the piece you are holding in your second picture broken off the piece that is attached to the seat?

It is still attached on the front and the other side, only drops off on the left.

The driver's side recline cover has one screw attached (dark arrow) to the front and one garnish clip (white arrow) on the side. Also, looks like the side cover has to be aligned with other attachment areas (areas shown with dotted lines).

The front recline cover may or may not need to be removed first to adequately examine and reattach the side cover.

Okay, so it doesn't appear that the screw on the front left is still attached. I will try to check today to really get a good look. We have a hurricane headed this way so it's been pouring and I haven't been able to really check. Thanks!
