2018 Honda Accord condenser replacement
My 2018 brand new Honda Accord AC condenser is leaking and it needs condenser replacement.
Honda service mentioned it won’t cover under warranty because I drove over 36k miles and end up with paying 860$ out of my pocket.
Does anyone went through the same similar problems with Honda new models? I am trying to reach Honda head office for vehicle recall or extend my warranty but no one responding

You have to extend your warranty while it's under the manufacture warranty. If your warranty is expired sadly you are going to have to foot the bill. They don't care if it's 1 mile over no matter how much complaining you do in the end you're going to have to pay. There thought is you had time to extend your warranty and you didn't so it's not there fault. There is a possibility you can extend the warranty if you didn't go in but if you did and they diagnosed you car you are out of luck.
Honda does have a website where you can check your VIN for for existing recalls but at this time that is not one Honda is recalling. All you can do is get it fixed and hope in the future they get enough complaints they do make it a recall.

I emailed Honda head office and no reply from anyone. Even I replaced brand new battery with this vehicle around 37k miles on it and it’s not covered under warranty. I feel Honda quality is no longer where it used to be.
I paid today 980$ for condenser replacement and AC recharge and they are not sure for future problems. This is really upset with new model Honda car

ya, that’s surprising but I don’t have option for this new car.
I am huge fan of Honda vehicles, that was the reason, I bought new Accord 2018 even after I used a Honda Accord 2005 model for almost 10 years. To be frank, I never had such issues with that car. I am a student and working hard to pay off my installments. During this pandemic, it is becoming very tough for me to bear these unexpected expenses but I don’t have choice. I requested Honda head office for consideration for recall or extend my warranty but so far no reply for them.

I would probably find an independent shop to work on your vehicle. Try to find one that specializes in Honda's or foreign cars with good reviews.
The repairs will likely be less expensive vs the dealership.

Mine was covered.
I do have an extended warranty (to 60k miles) on my 2018 accord (43k miles on it now), and just had to have my ac condenser replaced today. My drivers side air was blowing warm and would not cool at all. Thought I would have to pay the $100 deductible for my extended warranty, but there was no charge today. The service adviser said it was “covered under Honda factory warranty because they have extended the warranty on these due to the many issues.” I have had my vehicle in multiple times over the last 3 years for issues related to the ac and not cooling like it should - they had to replace both the driver and passenger side air mix motors... so maybe they covered it due to my documentation with the ac issues?
