There have been some cases, where it can also be due to a bad ignition coil.

CYP sensor resistance is measured on distributor side connector at the Orn and Wht wires.
If resistance measures good at distributor connector, reconnect the distributor to harness and make resistance measurement again at the ECM connector on same wire colors; connector B.

Some of the information in the free downloadable 96 Accord supplement is not entirely correct. Even the picture diagrams in that supplement showed the wrong distributor for the 96 (it is showing the 94-95 distributor). The Accord 96 4 cylinder was OBD II and the TDC/CKP sensors were no longer in the distributor for a 96 and 97.
See post #11 above for specs. and the link to another thread in that post. The OP in the other thread also seen the same specs. listed in the Haynes manual (post #17).
