I have an '03 5mt accord, and have had it for a little over a year. Since day one i have noticed 3rd to be a little different shifting into, but its my first manual so i figured it was just me being suspicious and noobish. However lately sometimes it pops out of third when i attempt to shift (smoothly as normal) and i have to put it back into neutral and then into 3rd again before it clicks in. Once in a while this happens with second too but not as much. i'd say it happens with third just about once per day as it is my daily driver and i drive an average of 30-50 miles per day. Our problems seem similar. Any suggestions? is it maybe my synchrons or do i need to utilize the above mentioned GM synchromesh?

alexander, i have an '07 v6 6mt and had to get the same issue fixed as well a few months back. it's covered under Honda TSB 08-020. i'd call your local honda dealer and mention the tsb and they should fix it for free.
