89 accord water pump issues
im new to this honda thing im more for american big blocks but anyways...i bought a 89 accord lx automatic with 297k on it and it runs and drives for 100 bucks original almost everything and the water pump bearings went out so i got a new pump and in the process of trying to get the old one off ive taken the upper timing belt cover off and trying to get the lower cover off to get to the bottom water pump bolt....is there any easy way to do this because im not finding one?

I suggest you search this forum about removing the crank pulley bolt. You are pretty much doing all of the steps required to change the timing belt, so you may want to consider changing those belts as well.
Since you don't have all of the steps to do this job, go to the online manuals thread in the diy section, and one of the links has an 86-89 shop manual that will give you all the steps and pictures to tackle the job. You may have to change the settings at the bottom of the page to show all threads and not the recent ones.

You can get the pump out without removing the pulley......trust me. been there done that. oh, just did it 4 months ago.
But before giving you the details/how to, with that many miles, when was the t-belt last replaced. You're almost at 300K, so if the "normal" replacements have been done (~100 K) you are do.
Also this gen does not have/use the "pulley holder" so getting that bolt out is tricky.
EDIT: I only replaced the pump and not the belts (4 months ago) because I verified the invoice the prev owner had where they replaced "just the t-belt" 15K miles before....the other times some dummy (me) had the serp belt too tight and that caused the bearings to fail.
