overheating and cooling fans not turning on, coolent loss, i replaced the waterpump, thermastat, and radiatior, still hadtemp increse so i hard wired the fans to a toggle switch so i cant get a good reading from the ecu, ( Had to jimmy rig because itswas only transpo ) now the cars justtakin up space but i had to move it the other day and other than the dead battery it started right up ran fine until i moved it around the corner and turned it off, and that was it, turns over but will not start, im thinkin imgoing to dive in to the head gasket this weekend why not right iv done everything elseallready andspent a bunch of $on parts that didn't do any thing, Itsdown to the head gasket, going on pinks and puting my driving skills on the line ( oh well if i loose right ) or buying$2 bucks worth of gas and a couple of matches and having a good bonfire this weekend

If it was an overheating problem and the fans not coming on it's either the TW sensor or the Head gasket, the TW sensor is your temp sensor, do a search through the forum and you'll find the test procedures on it... I can't recall what they are off the top of my head

hey temp sensors do alot to a car.. more than one believes or thinks..
but the car not starting.. dont think so.
dude if your car wasnt beening driving for a while.. and it was on low gas below empty..
you best belive its that little rubber hose that connects the fuel pump to the fuel lines.. its a 1 dollar fix.. dude... just some labor involed.. but a possible at home job..
but if you want to check that temp sensors go ahead.. its problbly the prob.. with your overheating or your engine could be going out.. getiting drag on your pistons.. or other parts of your engine..

I changed the temp sensors ( the one at the bottom of the radiatior, and the one in the thermostst housing ) whenI replacedthe radiatior and the thermostat and for the not driving thing thats just recently, this car was my daily driver and I was going through all of this then but I got tired of it and bought a truck,

dude.. im telling you i think its that damm little rubber hose that goes from the fuel pump to the fuel lines. its like a n inch long..
i cant wait till i get some time to go to my buddies shop and jack up my ride and drop that tank to change that damm hose.. i cant believe that dang mechanic didnt change that hose when he replaced my fuel pump about two or more years ago.. what an ***.. and just to mention.. lol.. he did kinda get shut down.. he doesnt own or run that shop anymore..my luck huh.. payed.. 350 bucks.. well another hard lesson that had to be learned.. no?... lol.. well cool dude.. just get that hose changed.. or to test fill the tank insert the key.turn till all the dash lights turn on.. and wait like 10 seconds or till some turn offf . then turn on with no gas pedal.. it should start.. if not.. insert key..have a buddy lay down near tank and listen while you turn key..till lights turn on.. and if he hears a wirling sound fuel pump is okay.. its either that hose or something in your engine bay.. fuel filter, fuel regulator or clogged injector.. if not.. ecu.. [ps. also.. is it tuned up. .make sure you have new rotor and cap and wires..and maybe some new plugs..
try step by step
1) fill tank and try
2)listen for wirling sound
3)let dash lights turn off before you turn key. without gas pedal..
4)same as above but with gas pedal floor.. let go.. then a little bit..or none
5)check if tunned up
6)check ecu or codes and fuses
7)check engine bay
8)fuel filter
9)regulatot
10)fuelrail/injectors
this is what i would do. cuz i did it the the other way around and i lost alot of money.. finally a friend who i hadnt talked to for a long time that works on big time import cars.. told me it was that damm hose. f.....k..
ohh well.. dude take my advice how you will.. but .. fuel.. probs..suck..dude.. if not gone about correctly..
one luv

when car does not start,, pull the plugs and see if they are fouled either coolant or fuel..
if they are fuel fouled clean then and start the car , if it starts ,, replace the TW sensor like i suggested way back
it it is coolant fouled you got a bad head gasket or a cracked head ..
You said you replaced the head gasket,, did you take head to machine shop to have it milled and checked for cracks ??
if plugs are NOT fouled than throw all this out of the window
let us know ..
chk to see what codes are stored
