90K 06 Honda Accord LX SE - Check Engine Light Went On

You can do the replacement yourself. Was it the primary or secondary sensor? The trouble code will help to make sure which sensor it is.
If you post the info., I'll see if I can dig up some diagrams, etc.

Denso sensor in a Bosch box? That could have been me in a very old thread on Honda-Tech. I'm not sure if that was real or maybe just a switcheroo by the parts-store. (I won't name the chain store because it was a long time ago and I don't remember which store...)

In another thread on this forum, I mentioned the repackaged Denso in a Bosch box, and you mentioned you seen it before on one of the cars you worked on.

And with the companies I've worked with........this would not be a surprise. Denso will make some, NTK - NGK will make some, Bosch will make some.....so for them to say they have a complete offering, well they all buy from each other.
Heck, if you ever really look at some AC Delco spark plugs....they are made by NGK, just have different paint on them

My light came back on and has been on more consistently. I figured out that it is the primary O2 sensor that I have to change (the one near the manifold). Can anyone point me to some instructions on how to do this?
Thanks,

Essentially:
- Jack up car and support with jack stands.
- Disconnect electrical connector for air/fuel ratio sensor.
- If necessary, spray some penetrating oil and let it soak in for awhile.
- Use an O2 sensor socket or wrench and remove A/F sensor.
- Install new sensor.

Do you have any other pictures of this? Still trying to figure out exactly where this is. Also, what tools will I need? I was reading that I might need a socket set to remove O2 sensor that I could rent from Autozone. Is that true?

Look under the car, it is the one forward on the exhaust pipe (they call that pipe area the exhaust manifold).
An O2 sensor socket (which has a slit in it for the wire) will make the job easier; but, on some cars, a regular wrench can be used.
I have this other picture; but, the first one I posted is more representative of the location.
