91 Accord EX MT Vacuum hose 3- Where does it go?
I had a vacuum hose leak which caused my idle to act erratically. I found a cracked hose so I bought a length of hose and decided to replace all of them. When I looked at the hose module I found hose #3 to be not connected to anything outside the module, it just hangs there. I replaced all the rest of the hoses and It is still running at 1200 rpm unless it is really hot at which time it drops to around 900 RPM. I live in So. AZ so 100 Degrees+ outside is normal this time of year. The manual and the under hood diagram are confusing and there is no place to hook it up that I can find.
Should I plug it? (It is sucking air) or has it been wrong since I bought the car 4 years ago?
If it needs to go some where, then where and what does the part look like?

Identify vacuum hose in this diagram and you should be able to reconnect. I think diagram no. 32 is yours.
good luck

Thanks all,
I found that the last owner had broken the input to the canister. They did not do anything with hose #3 or the canister. I drilled out the canister hose fitting (at least where it once was). Then Jerry rigged a small hose into it (canisters cost a fortune and It is 21 years old). I have inserted the small canister hose to hose #3 and put RTV all around the connections. hopefully they will not leak. I will know tomorrow. If it holds then I should get a good seal and be able to adjust the idle to 700. I was not expecting the fitting to be missing, which is why I could not find it. I'll let you all know the outcome. It's always a challenge when you have an old used car. Thanks again.
