91 accord runs rough when hot

no the check engine light does not come on but could it still be one of those sensors? or would the light come on?

Those were just two examples. The check engine light should come on if a sensor's reading is outside of some preset range. A large range could allow a flaky sensor to not trip the Check engine light.

I had a flaky throttle position sensor that would occasionally trip the check engine light, although it was messed up all the time.

You should check for codes just to be thorough.

Does the check-engine light come on for 2 seconds when you first turn on the car? (Bulb-check)

yeah it comes on when i turn the key on and when i short out the connector it just stays on doesnt blink...

OK, staying on solid when you short the connector means the bulb is OK & there's no codes stored.
