Default 91 Accord SE Oil Leak

My 91 Accord SE with 160,000 miles is leaking oil on the exhaust downpipe. After warmup this produces large volumes of smoke from the under hood area. The leak does not appear to be coming from the oil filter or from the valve cover - I've already replaced the valve cover gasket including the spark plug grommets. I've also replaced the PCV valve. Any ideas where the engine oil could be leaking from?

Oil was coming from the engine side of the oil cooler. There is an O ring that that is apparantly a trouble spot on 90-93 Accords. Replacement was a simple 20 minute job with a $4 dealer list part. Decided to post follow up so others might be able to find this in search.

I will bet money its your oil pressure sensor...as the car ages...and the block heats up and cools off the seal of the sensor gets bad and cracks..if left leaking can cause a big leak...this is most likely ur problem..if thats not it then i would have to say a rear main seal..which means tranny comes out to replace..and a pain in the ***...but check the oil pressure sensor..

1-remove the oil filter
2- look above the filter seat
3- find a wire with a black cap to it heading into the block
4- look for oil seapage

also look along a black cooling tube running along the back side of the block..it will cause oil to fallow that and leak down by the timing cover and onto the transmission....
good luck and happy hunting....lol
