it doesn't feel like it to me. i can feel it shift very distinctively and it doesn't feel at all like it's shifting when it's bogging. she says she thinks it feels like it just kinda lets go (meaning the clutches let go) and then re-engage. i think it's just because of the problems stated above but probably won't know for sure until those other two problems are fixed.

that's what i thought too but i told her i would ask anyway. she's like "are you sure?" and i was thinking "uh yea pretty sure". Thanks Poorman for all your help. going to be fixing one of these two problems here very soon (have the valve cover gaskets already)

If you were closer you could borrow my torque wrench....a little too far to drive but I bet the weather is better there than here

Hey, sounds like a good Christmas gift for yourself ?

so noticed something today after the car sat for 12 hours. when i first started off it ran pretty good, i shut it off at the gas station and when i started back up it was much worse with the bogging and rpm's jumping. would this still possibly be the oil in the dizzy? or could there be something else wrong? i know i still need to fix the problem with oil in the dizzy but this bogging and rpm's jumping is getting really old really fast.

It could be but we need to rule out some of the known issues.....still no codes?

Did you plug the O2 sensor in? That would affect performance, too.

Is the A/C on? I know when my A/C kicks on, you can feel the loss of power. Drove my GF nuts til I explained to her it was normal, so now she ignores it.
