92 Accord Oxygen Sensor
#11
I have adjusted the idle speed but that didn't fix the problem. The weird thing is the as the engine gets warmer the faster the idle speed gets until it gets to around 2000 rpms. If I unplug the IACV the rpms drop back to base idle. It will have to wait until this weekend when I have time to work on it again. I have pretty much decided the problem with the engine light and the O2 sensor need to be fixed first. Who knows once I figure that out the idle problems may be fixed too.

OK guys I think I have figured this out. When checking the codes after turning the key on the check engine light was giving one blink. The problem is I didn't think to pay attention to whether is was a long or short blink. One short blink would be code 1 or the O2 sensor. One long blink would be code 10 or the Intake Air Temp sensor. Guess which one I have.... Code 10. I will be buying a new sensor tomorrow. I don't know how many other people may be mistaking one blink for the code 1 when it should be code 10 but that explains why I still had the check engine light after buying a new O2 sensor and installing it.
Thanks for the help.
