92 accord, VERY high idle pulse

Well for finding Vacuum leaks, my favorite trick is to spray around a can of carb cleaner, When the carb cleaner gets sucked into a vacuum leak the RPM increases.
DO NOT spray around plug wires or distributor cap.
Because the head has been off, I'd spray along the intake manifold where it meets the head first.
Another thing is to be sure the throttle cable has a little slack in it and is not holding open the throttle plate at all.

also chk the intake manifold gasket,, I have seen a few of those leak

Well it's supposed to be raining all weekend, so I'm letting my bosses mechanic friend look at it over the weekend (for free!!! ) but I did notice that when I was driving it there, the pulse/surge/hunt even continued unless I almost floored it (which REALLY made it hard to drive...rofl)
