93 Accord acts like hits rev limiter
Ok, new to this site so bear with me.
I have a 93 Accord - 217K auto. Starts and drives fine, rough idle but that's expected IMO. Anyway, whether in park or drive under heavy acceleration or revving it acts like it hits the rev limiter at roughly 3500 RPM.
Took it to a shop for a free scan but they do not have the comp to work on 96 or older. They did say they got a code related to injectors but all are working according to them. They did say they checked the ohms at each and it registers 7.2ohms. According to them they are supposed to be in the 1.2-2.5 range based on research. Is this true? Odd thing is all read the same at 7.2 which would indicate operational.
I was thinking EGR valve but now question that. Any ideas? possible computer?
Thanks in advance.

Check wiring to the injectors. Each injector has 2 wires. The wire that matches color across all 4 injectors is supposed to have battery power whenever the key is on. Check that with a multi-meter. The ECU closes the ground side of each circuit.
Dirty/loose/corroded plugs at the injectors?

I read where a code 16 can arise from a faulty main fuel relay. See if one of the wires has 12V when the key is in the II position going to a fuel injector plug.
The wire color you want to test will be the same on all the injectors.
