I was worried about the ign key cyl being replaced before. So again, the key that was lost, did it work all of the locks?
EDIT: Key tumblers (I can't spell) wear at different rates based upon usage. I can't tell you how many times I've had a key copy made for one of my old Honda's and found that the newly cut key would work some locks but not the others. A bit of quality time with a file and sandpaper and then that key would work with all of the locks.
If you were able to pull the trunk lock,,,we can walk you thru pulling the ign lock cyl so that you can take that to the locksmith and get one that works there......be sure that the steering wheel isn't locked....meaning as you try to turn the ign switch, gently rock the steering wheel side to side.
