93 Accord - Please ID this oil leak source
My car has been leaking oil onto the exhaust pipe...causing white smoke and that "burning rubber" smell everytime I drive it.
Ifound the source of the leak...it's a small hole on the cylinder which the oil filter connects to.
I've attached a photo with the location of the hole marked with a pen. Can someone please tell me what that hole is and how I can fix the problem. Is it just a missing plug? or do I have to replace that whole part?

There is an oil sending unit just above the oil filter, it is protected/surrounded by a little rubber boot and has two wires running to it. Common place for an oil leak, the oil runs down from that onto the oil filter then down onto the exhuast, reach up there and pull that rubber boot back (directly above the oil filter) and if there is some oil in there that's probably your issue.

Like Sir Nasty said, the oil sending unit is a common culprit for an oil leak. I attached a pic of your oil filter setup. I think that you are pointing to #22, the oil cooler. I don't know if a hole should be there. Others can comment.
I have also heard of people having to replace #33 the oring behind the oil cooler. If #22 turns out to be bad, its pretty expensive new (~$300), so I would look at junk yards or possibly Ebay for a used one. I don't think that it is common for these to fail.
