94-97 Accord wagon owners - rear seat question.
Hello to all. I'm considering purchasing an Accord wagon, 94-97, and wonder about the rear seat.
*Does the bottom part of the rear seat fold forward each side separately (as in vintage Mercedes & Camry wagons), or is the bottom a 'one piece' affair, such as in a 90s model Subaru?
I'm looking to replace my aged Benz 300TD, which has the split seat, which is a requirement for my application. (loading PA system, plus foster daughter in back).
I'd simply go look for myself, but the nearest one for sale is 2 hours away.
Thanks, Joe

Oops...I should have read a little closer. I didn't catch "bottom."
I don't know if it's relevant, but the backs independently fold such that the floor is completely flat. I guessing that vehicles which require the bottom to be folded up don't have enough room for the seat backs to fold flat when the bottom is in place.

Thanks for the insight. My 300TD seats can provide a perfectly flat and well supported deck, and do so with 1/2 the back seat up, or all down. The Subaru wagons I've looked at - deck is somewhat flat, and somewhat supported if the one-piece bottom is folded forward, but to leave the bottom in the standard position, and fold 1/2 the back forward, gives a softly supported and un-even deck. I don't want to set expensive and fragile amps, etc, on a 'bouncy' un-supported surface.
*plan to drive one of these wagons later this week
-I have noticed the market setting full of the earlier generation (89-93), as if not real desirable, yet many 94-97 wagons sell the day they're listed, unless grossly overpriced, or in mechanically poor condition...
