Question 94 Accord DX std not shifting as smooth

My 5 spd 94 Honda Accord DX is not shifting into gears 1,2,and 3 as smooth as it once did. It goes into gear, no grinding, just not as smooth as i like. It gets much better when the car warms up but still doesnt like to go into first when the car is moving. I never try to go into first above 10 mph. It has been very cold here lately but i never noticed it in the summer. I dont know if this is a common issue in the cold with these cars. I recently changed my transmission fluid and put pennzoil 10-40. The old oil looked burnt, but nothing out of ordinary. Dont know when previous owner changed it, if ever. Shifting still an issue. Time for a new clutch? Also somtetimes when i start off in first i can here a tiny whining noise. Anyone ever here of that? Could that be CV's? I know i need them cause just starting to here a little tiny bit of click when takin turns sometimes. Shifting is main issue though.

Try Honda MTF fluid.
Or maybe Pennzoil "Synchromesh" fluid.

But if a synchro is actually worn, a fluid change won't do magic.

If the synchro was worn though wouldnt it not get better when warm?

That's probably true, but I'm not sure.
