Default 94 Accord EX auto tranny problem

Transmission was working just fine, until sunday night when I noticed it was staying in gear
quite a bit longer before shifting. Next time I drove it, slipping was noted. Next day, I could hardly
get it up the driveway. Slips quite a bit in forward gears, or stays in gear up to a high RPM. At
idle, will not even engage when I put it in drive.

However, it seems to shift into reverse just fine.

Recently replaced CV axles, fluid looks fine. I have high miles, 225K and engine runs
great. Transmission was replaced at some point before I bought it at 170K. It seems
automatic transmissions are not exactly Hondas forte, based on some online reading.

Also had just replaced valve cover gasket (again since I botched it the first time and dripped a lot of oil
from the valve cover due to not sealing it up well)
No check engine light.

try jumpering the service connector and look for a 'D4' flash code;

Drain and refill the trans with fresh Honda Z-1 ATF. [3 Quarts]
Beyond that, if you have no flash code, there is probably a stuck valve in the valve body of the trans.

Thanks, I am going to work and look for a D4 code. What are symptoms of a stuck valve and how is it fixed?
Auto transmissions are a bit of a enigma to me, they might as well work by PFM.
