Yes, code 17 is the VSS. So there were no additional codes?
Still doesn't prove it's a bad VSS versus disconnected/loose/corroded wiring for the VSS. You still have to check that out.

ok ill look at all the wiring to it clean it up a little bit and also i tried clearing the srs light on the dash like it says in the do it yourself section but it wouldnt work

ok where is the srs plug i need to find so i can clear the srs located i looked again under the dash but i cant find it what color is it

never mind found the srs connector but i have a question will the ac compressor from a 94 accord lx work on my 94 ex and will the vss work from the 94 lx on my ex?
