94 Accord EX rear disc brakes - Questions
Hi all,
Hit the squealers on one of my pads on the right rear wheel yesterday so I pulled both rear brake systems. The car is rear disc with ABS. A couple of observations. The brakes have been out before since one of the screws holding the rotor is stripped. A bolt on the right caliper was missing, the bolt that holds the pads in the caliper. The left side brake appeared to not be wearing much as there seemed to be a little rust on the rotor and it wasn't nice and shiny as a heavily used rotor should be.
Now, I do have the manual at home and haven't had a chance to go through it yet but thought I'd ask for any pointers and feedback on the above observations when I go to install these. I've never done rear disc on an Accord before so no clue on how to adjust them or adjust the e-brake etc. Also if there is some reason the left brake may not be working properly or maybe out of adjustment or bad.
I will read the manual when I get home. Also note: car has 170k miles and I've only had it 6 months so no history beyond that.
Thanks
