'94 Accord EX VTEC runs rough between 2700 and 3000 RPM
I have a '94 Honda EX VTEC 175K miles with 4sp automatic transmission
It runs rough between 2700 and 3000 RPM. By rough, I mean It vibrates or shakes.
All four injectors register 1.0 Ohm resistance. Haynes says resistance should be between approximately 1.5 and 2.5 ohms. I have also read that the exact resistance is not as important as the fact that all four have a similar figure.
Your thoughts will be appreciated

- This only happens when transmission is in gear (doesn't happen when transmission is in neutral)
- This only happens under moderate acceleration (doesn't happen under full acceleration)
- The symptoms get worse as engine temperatures rise.
- The vibration can be felt through the seat, not through the steering wheel
- The transmission has been checked by a professional since after the symptoms began
- Both front axels have been replaced since symptoms began
- Spark plugs and wires have 30K on them
- Recently, it has started running rough at 2000 RPM, too

This has similar symptoms to my 94EX long running problem w/ vibration under acceleration. I replaced both axles twice w/ AZ aftermarket axles. Symptoms remained same. After 2nd AZ axles, I purchased Raxles replacements and solved problem.
Also suggest inspecting motor mounts for damage. It is possible that motor mount damage could cause these symptoms.
good luck

What should I look for on the axles besides defective boots and excess play?
