94 accord wont stay running
I have a 94 Honda Accord ex with the 2.2 v-tech, car has 261k on it....... here is whats going on and what i have tried..... when i first turn the key to the on position i hear the fuel pump kick on, after it stops i turn the key to start it, it Will start for a second or 2 but then dies, if i try to restart the car with out resetting the key (resetting key- to turn key to off position and then back to on) the car will not start at all but does turn over but no start, if i reset the key then it will start for a second or 2 but dies again, i went and bought the electrical part of the ignition switch but that had no effect on anything, i jumpered the fuel pump so it would keep running just to make sure it wasn't a fuel issue, and that didn't fix anything. I replaced the 15a fuse for the fuel pump as well but still having the same issue.... any ideals anyone? this is beyond me at this point... thanks in advanced.... (car did sit for a few months)

Check for stored codes, in this thread there is a link for a "how to": https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...threads-40780/
Can/have you checked for spark when the car will not start?
Are the tune up items up to date?

Codes are sep by a "pause".....in your case, I will assume a code 15 as this is and ignition output signal, and you have a car that won't run.....ie no spark.
Ready for some testing?
Sorry, been outside playing with the 89 LXi that is giving me FITS !

Have a test light or volt meter......we need to check a few wires for voltage and ground.
In that same link, there is also a post where you can download a manual for your car that will have the testing procedures....you are looking at either a coil, ICM-ignition control module - or an ECU issue....hoping for one of the first two.
