95 accord code 3
#13
Well i havent ordered it yet, need to put money in the bank tomorrow morning. But i was going to get it because i have no idea how to replace that sensor lol plus my dist. is leaking
Btw my transmission is kinda jumpy, im guessing its my output speed sensor since thats the only sensor i havent changed yet and my speedmeter doesnt work. Or do u think the CKP is making it jump?

You do not have a code for a CKP sensor. The D4 light flashing a code 4 points towards a problem with the VSS. That is why I suggested the transmission shop look into that one, since you have a warranty.
What is weird is that you do not have a check engine code 17.
Recheck your codes.
Are you getting an oil leak inside the distributor (under the distributor cap), or is this an external oil leak?

ive already tried 3 different vss and changed the input speedsensor. the only one I hhave yet to change its the output sensor. but I really think it's the map sensor making my idle go crazy sometimes. hopefully it comes today. I can go to the junk yard and get the sensors easily. the annoying part is finding the problem lol. Sat I'm going to try a new output sensor just incase. I'm going to borrow one from my friends car it's the same one

Instead of replacing the part....vss....can we do some testing? The code is telling you "something" in that circuit is bad....not the part. So my point, a voltmeter and some time will tell you if the sensor is bad....or if there is a wire connection issue.
All the ECU/ECM and TCU know is that they are not "seeing" the proper "input"......why, well that is where the fun comes in
