Default 95 accord ex hard starts

New member: 95 accord ex has a new: fuel pump, timing belt, dist cap and rotor, plugs, wires, starter and battery good. It cranks but does not start up on the first try. I have to push the gas pedal and try again which usually starts it up. I can hear the fuel pump working. Im concern it will get worse quickly and not start at all. Is it the ecu or pgmi (not sure of the spelling). Can anyone help? Thx

As TX said, check for codes...IMO even if the CEL isn't coming on right now.

Have you given the throttle body a good cleaning?

To post in any forum, you move into that forum (where you see the list of thread titles). Then you click the "NEW THREAD" button from there.

The new member area is for introductions & welcome type postings. New members don't have to stay there like some kind of "penalty box".
