Default 95 Accord EX Tune up

I am the proud owner of a 95 Accord EX 4cyl, 5speed. I am putting new brakes, plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor on it today. Just wondering if there is anything some of you might also change or clean to help it out? This car has 235,000 miles on it and has not had too much for maintenance in the last couple of years. It runs and sounds pretty good for not having much upkeep. It was my buddy's car and he really did nothing too it.

Fuel filter?
Air filter?
Adjust spark-timing?
Suspension alignment?
Rinse & replace anti-freeze?
Bleed brakes to get fresh fluid in there? (including ABS)

Honda dealer sparkplug wires are pricey, but they seem to last forever.
Hondas seem to like NGK sparkplugs the best.

I don't know if you're very familiar with Hondas, but when you do the rear brakes you can't push the caliper piston straight in. Gotta twist it in - that's the handbrake mechanism.

nice acquisition. im headed towards 200k miles myself and i was already making a list of things i wanted to replace this time around. last major tuneup was at 96k for me.

i was looking at these parts: timing belt, balancer belt, and all the seals/gaskets that go with above, water pump, power steering and compressor belts(should i buy at honda or store is ok?), distributor cap and rotor(was told o-ring comes with), pcv valve, spark plug wires(was gonna buy oem at sparkplugs.com, half the price at honda), fuel filter(im averaging 26.8 mpg want to anyway), and fuel injector o-rings(previously cleaned out ports, think i shoulda put in new o-rings at the time).

i just replaced radiator cap and thermostat assembly since i was overheating. maybe consider doing that if never been done. did radiator flush while at it. spark plugs replaced a year ago so they should be good. my air filter's been kept up too. just some other ideas for ya! good luck with the tune up.

Oh yeah, htekken reminds me of something else...

Steeleywhopper - How old is the timing belt?
If you let it break, most likely the pistons will hit the valves & that's REALLY expensive.

I had a 1998 & the belt was supposed to be replaced every 100k miles or 7 years. I think the 1995 wants to replace it more often than that. Somewhere in the DIY forum Desert has a post about the timing belt intervals for different year Accords.

I appreciate all the tips here. I ended up putting front brakes on it and a basic tune up. Plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, found out that the back brakes need to be done as well. I will do that tomorrow, with any luck the rotors will just need to be turned and new pads. Oh yea, gonna throw some Sea Foam in the intake and clean that up as well.
deserthonda, I will check into the valve adjustment and also the timing belt.
Thanks to all of you!

One more suggestion: darin and replace the Manual Transmission filuid with REDLINE MTL, it has made 5-sp's shifting amazingly smooth.

Also may want to flush bleed tha clutch fluid.
