Sounds like a throwout bearing, but don't rule out the push pin of the slave cylinder where it contact with the throwout bearing shift fork is dry, it will make the same noise without the grease there.

well this morning i decided just to check the fuild in the tranny so i pop off the drian plug and had hardly anything come out so its not looking good the onlly thing that looed good was the magntic drian plug had no metal shaving on it. so i replaced the the fuild and the noises went away also shifts and goes into gear a lot better well i guess its good that i didnt spend that 800 on the clucth kit and throw out bearing i guess i need to be looking for a good used tranny hopefully this tranny will last until i find one and the whinning thaat i was hearing on the highwaay is now gone also maybe i didnt fry it to bad

How much fluid did you have to add? Fluid doesn't magically disappear, so look for signs of transmission fluid leaking. It could be a slow leak. I would look around where the CV joints insert into the transmission.

The Honda manual transmissions are pretty solid, so maybe the low fluid didn't do permanent damage.

well it looks to have had a let a cv axle let lose at one time and it looks to have cracked the case and the previous owner used some jb weld to fix it i didnt notice this until i was under there today dosnt seem to be leaking bad so i imagine that its been leaking a while just never notice so for a tempery fix until i find a replacement trans o clean off the area and reaply so jb weld i have had the car for like 2 years and just notice it now so i think it might last a couple more months . oh i drianed it completely so it took 2 quarts to fill it maybe got a half a quart out of it

If it drives ok and no more noises from the tranny then you're good, If you had the car for 2yrs without refilling the fluid then it wasn't leaking that bad then. Keep driving it and keep adding fluid as needed.

Most likely, but don't forget to check for the shifter arm seals on top by the shifter tower. I just got mine replace, it was leaking decent amount of fluid, i thought it was the axle seals so i replace them and still leak wth ? I looked up higher and found the shifter shaft seals are leaking.

decent amount of fluid, get right axle all soaked. All three seals cost under $20 from Honda, it fairly simple to replace them seals with the shifter cable disconnected and remove the shifter tower, you will also need a roll pin punch to remove the shifter arm out. Your tranny should be somewhat similar to mine. Check on the shifter tower for leaks before you changing the seals, here is the picture, looking at number 10,15, and 16 Part Detail
