have you cleaned your egr passages, iacv, fitv?
done a tune up? changed fuel filter? dizzy cap and rotor?
your tech will likely opt to replace the items instead of cleaning them.. which will cost hundreds of dollars..
if they do, i can clean all said items for pretty cheap compared to what they are probably going to charge.

Well, the tech who I talked to, as I mentioned earlier, said he couldn't really get a look at the car today, but would tomorrow. When I described to him on the phone what I felt, he said it sounded to him like a dirty catalytic converter and it may need to be cleaned of carbon.
I searched the headwind symptom and that is apparently very common with catalytic converter problems. The only problem is that exhaust appears to also be a symptom and I don't have any exhaust shooting out of the tail pipe that I know of.
Doing research (Being the car idiot that I am and not understanding things) I found that clogged catalytic converters can be caused by fouled spark plugs or a burned exhaust valve. Considering that I have the symptoms of a bad catalytic converter, minus the exhaust at this point, would it be fair to assume that I'm feeling the early signs of a bad converter and thus it means I have a spark plug or exhaust valve issue?
Thanks, guys!
