So after looking at a few pictures online of Honda a/c compressors I believe the car is missing the clutch. The pulley is there but there is no clutch attached to the outside of the pulley. The belt is in bad shape. I have a new one. I'm starting to think that the clutch came off and damaged the belt in the process. The a/c in her car hasn't worked in 2 years. She is bringing the car back tommorow so i can take another look. Ill post pictures around 5pm California time.

plan change. I wont have the car tonight. Does anyone have a picture of the engine compartment with the compressor in it that shows the clutch? and what needs to be removed to get the compressor out?

Got it all working and blowing cold, replaced the compressor because I couldn't find anyone that would sell just the clutch and I'm glad I did. It looks like the shaft on the Compressor is broke off. Thank you all for helping.

No clutch on that one. It is always best to do the basics before going into a long electrical testing project. Glad you get it all done.

Oh yeah. With that photograph it's clear that the compressor shaft is broken off. Wow.
