Time for me to go off the deep end. Have you cleaned and adjusted the FITV?

Another thought...

Fix the exhaust leak; sounds like it's near the front oxygen sensor.
The O2 sensor actually measures the oxygen DIFFERENCE inside vs. outside. So exhaust blowing onto the OUTSIDE of the sensor will throw off the measurement. That will cause your engine to adjust the fuel rate, which in turn will make the rear O2 sensor think that something's wrong - & throw a code.

Default Fitv

I have not adjusted or cleaned the FITV on this throttle body. The throttle body was a somewhat recent replacement from a very low mileage car. The original FITV needed cleaning because I had an unstable idle. I was unaware of an adjustment, other than getting that part to be gunk free.

I will fix the exhaust leak and hopefully that will fix the catalytic converter code. Could the o2 sensors ever cause the serious misfire issues that I am experiencing. I also have new wires to install.

Seems like all of my cold idle problems were in the distributor. I had replaced the ICM and Coil with aftermarket. I have read that these may be less reliable. I also had a problem with badly fitting Honda wires that I corrected. I picked up a used distributor from a junk yard and now it appears to be running fine at cold idle.
