Default 96 Accord F22B1 OBD1 to OBD2 Swap

Hello,
Been looking for details on what is involved to make a F22b1 convert from OBD1 to OBD2. Lost engine in 96 OBD2 and found a OBD1 engine and want to make it drop in car as it was. It appears I need to change the oil pump housing and not sure what else. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

There are a few ways to go about this.

Yes the distributor is the biggest issue/change that you will need to decide which way to go.

Decision point - do you want to use the dist from the 95 or the 96?

Then yes, you will have to swap the oil ump housing and sensor from the 96 to the 95. Then since you are "there" you might as well do the timing belt job - you will now have a "base line" as to when it was last done.

The crank pulley for the belt is different. Basically the whole housing and anything "forward" of it will have to be moved.

At some point you might want to think about the cost of a new/used dist for the 95 and just run some new wires.
