Default 96 accord Kmember

So the threads that the steering rack mounts up to on the k member in my accord stripped out, long story short, tried tapping them and a collar broke out on them. So I ordered a new k member for it, and I was coming here to see if anyone knew if I have to drop my whole engine cradle to replace it, or if it’s at all possible to swap it without doing that, as I planned on doing this Saturday and I don’t have anything to hold the engine up while I get the cradle swapped out. TIA

Ideas on how to hold the engine up without spending a couple hundred on a cherry picker would be much appreciated too

Rent a cherry picker instead of buying it?

Couple floor jacks with some boards to support under the oil pan. I'm not sure if that would work to give you enough room to work the frame out of there.

Default Update

Did the job this past weekend, and incase there’s anyone ever with the same issue, the kmember is just held on by 4 bolts and only attached with a crossbeam in the middle towards the engine cradle, I believe it was 2 12mm bolts holding it on, and then 4 17mm bolts, one on each corner, and a 17mm bolt to remove that goes through a mount (which I got to from above going under the intake, which if you have power steering (I swapped to manual) it might be easier to just take the whole intake off to remove power steering pressure lines).

TL;DR
You don’t need to remove whorl engine cradle, just a few bolts attaching it all
