96 Accord LX CEL Code 70 and D4 Code 2
I know the CEL Code 70 but what is the D4 Code of 2? It just came on today while picking up my sis from her class. I've surfed the web for the code, but it just never gave me any info on it. Would be nice if there is a list for the Flashing D4 codes. Any help is appreciated. I have to get it fixed before the summer hit.

Is your car a 4 or 6 cylinder?
Your car is OBD2, so you can get more specific codes by stopping by a parts store and have them read the codes. Your connector is behind the ash tray.
A code 2 from the D4 light is: Lock-up clutch does not engage
Causes:
Disconnected lock-up control solenoid
valve B connector
• Short or open in lock-up control
solenoid valve B wire
• Faulty lock-up control solenoid valve B

The check engine light code 70 is for the automatic transmission. The D4 light code 2 is for the lockup solenoid. The OBD2 code is likely P1758 for both of the codes.
This means that the transmission will not lockup the torque converter when you are going a constant speed. You feel the lockup happen when your car is in gear for a while then the rpm drops a bit to conserve gas.
You should be ok to drive it, but I would get is diagnosed soon. Automatic transmissions are a black box in my opinion. They will test the solenoid to listen for it to click. They may try cleaning it of any debris clogging the screen.
If they want to flush your transmission fluid, tell them no. Only drain and refill the transmission fluid an only use honda automatic transmission fluid.
