96 accord starting probs
im having starting problems with my accord. it cranks over fine & wants to start but it just dies. this happend the first time about 2 months ago, after cranking it over 7-8 times it finally started then was fine for a few months. then last night on my way home, first the clock went out, then all the gauges went & it died about 100 yards later & it wont start. anyone have an ideas??

What year is your car? With the way your describing you car dying, when it won't start check for a spark. I've seen quite a few times that the ignition control module goes out. Fairly cheap to fix if you know how to tear apart your dizzy. Your other issue with the lights sounds to me like it could be a charging system issue. Maybe bad alternator or battery. I would start there. Hope this helps.

I'm glad that you figured it out.
I try to make no assumptions on here.
That part sounded like either your alternator went out, or the battery/battery cables. I thought that maybe the two problems were unrelated. That is why I asked if the battery light came one before this happened.
