97 accord v6 power steering pump
My power steering pump is blowing ps fluid all out of the top of the cap, foamy, whining, etc --- And I'm thinking the o-rings need replaced on the inlet.
Does anyone happen to know the exact part number for the inlet o-ring?
I know I can buy an entire kit for 15.00 -- but I'm just wanting the inlet o-ring
Thankies

I don't see the inlet -- just out

funny story.. Just went out to drain the tank, unhooked the outlet tube and had the cap off... started the car and fluid just gushed out of the top of the tank... I cleaned it up... it had some fluid still in there so i started it... and no more whining or bubbling

There IS a screen inside the PS reservoir. Down low, it's normally submerged in fluid.
If that is dirty & plugged up, then the suction side of the pump is pulling against that & causing more of a vacuum situation at the suction hose.
So it sounds like the problem is resolved anyway?? Not sure I understand how that fixed it, but glad its fixed.
