98 Accord Codes

Default 98 Accord Codes

Hello,

I pulled the two codes from my 98 Accord. 4 cly auto. I used a OBDII Scanner

P0170
p0171

Any idea what these are and how to fix?

its a fuel trim malfunction. system too lean. still on the phone

honda said o2 sensor. not really sure about that one though.. it could be a leak in the exhaust, upstream from the o2. could be an injector, and theres an outside chance it may have something to do with the MAP sensor, or any of its underlying sensors, which are Intake air temp sensor and the throttle position sensor.

The most probable curprit is gonna be the 02 sensor. there is a way to test it. i might be able to find out how tomorrow

The O2 sensor. I think that this is mounted right on the exhaust manifold. Am I correct?, or is there another one on this car. If anyone knows how to test it I would appreciate it.
