Default 98 accord v6 problems

Long story short. Got this accord for my teen, 1st car, high milage got it for a steal... so go figure. tranny goes bad. drop engine and tranny and sent tranny for rebuild. put it back together. engine was idleing up and down, replaced IAC fixed the problem. now when car is on road any time its put under a load seems to miss or something, idle is kinda rough. if it's in PARK engine will only REV to about 3,000 then acts like it hits a rev limiter or something. Pulled a code of P1362... TDC sensor... is this a crank sensor and would it cause this issue.. ANY HElP greatly appreciated...

I think its part of the distributor housing. I think you will have to replace the whole distributor. I wish I could help you more but I got a 2000 Ex V6 and they switched to Coil On Plug so I am not very familiar with it.

Hopefully this should solve your rough idle issues.

On your car, I believe it is located behind the timing belt cover. The connector plug should be located outside of the cover. Check for loose connection, frayed wire, grime, corrosion, moisture, etc. on connector.

Yeah its under the cover but the connection is outside the cover. should be just above the oil filter. other wise check to see if the timing belt jumped. There is a buliten on the tensioner.

I thought that was the crankshaft position sensor. Is this the correct item? Item 15 behind the front camshaft cover. Its listed as SENSOR, CRANK CYLINDER (TDC1-TDC2). Maybe I am confused.
