99 Accord EX has power problems
OK I have a 99 Accord EX that is having some issues with running right. Sometimes I have problems starting it, at times it will just die under load. In describing it, it feels like it's just not getting enough fuel until I punch it. Otherwise, usually at low RPM, it hesitate and studders. I definitely feel that all the problems I'm having are related.
I'm not a mechanic just mechanically inclined. So I believe that I will be able to fix the problem as long as I know where to look. I'm thinking that there is a sensor or something that is fouling. I recently replaced the distributor in a process of elimination approach to fixing the problem only to have it persist.
I have fuel at the rail and I've put a node light on the injectors and don't seem to have a problem there. I was thinking on replacing the regulator, but I don't have the time or money to keep guessing on where to look.
Anyone got any advice?
