Cool 9th Gen Brake Question

Recently upgraded front rotors to a set of slotted. With only 10K on the used set I was thinking about resurfacing and swapping those out with the non ventilated rears. They are the same diameter 11.1" Has anyone done this before? Or is it even possible? If nothing else I will be trying it in the coming weeks I will keep you posted

While I haven't looked at the Gen 9 disk setup, it is HIGHLY UNLIKELY your front rotors will fit the rear hubs and calipers.

You already have them, so it doesn't cost much to try.

But I bet they won't fit.

I just looked the rotors up, not only do the front rotors have a larger diameter (293.00mm vs. 281.95mm), they are nearly three times as thick (25.0mm vs. 9mm) and will certainly not fit inside of the rear calipers, at least, not with anything but almost completely worn out pads, even then they'll probably grind against the bridge portion of the caliper.
